ZAKYNTHOS
Zakynthos, Fiore Levante is another Ionian island endowed with nature with unique beauties. VASILIKOS
Vassilikos area is renowned for the natural beauty and tranquillity, a paradise for those who love the sea.The lush vegetation harmoniously combines with the sandy beaches to offer the visitors the best views in Zakynthos (Zante). Access is easy by car or even on foot.Vassilikos is a general area of the peninsula rather than a separate resort, a wonderful part of Zakynthos with many villages that aren´t densely populated.Alongside with the area´s natural, wide beauty, one can see vast olive groves which are carefully cultivated.

BEACHES
Vassilikos has the most beautiful beaches on the island. Some of them are located on the eastern side of the peninsula, such as Porto Zoro, the Ionian Sea, Banana, Plaka, Agios Nikolaos, Mavrantzis and Porto Roma. In the southern part there is the magnificent beach of Gerakas and on the eastern side of the peninsula are the beaches Dafni and Sekania. The last three have a view of the Bay of Laganas and are nesting areas of the Caretta-Caretta turtle. They belong to the National Marine Park and the protection measures are very strict.
The beaches are distinguished for their sandy, golden beaches with their crystal clear, shallow and clear waters. In most of them access is very easy. At the beaches of the eastern part you can enjoy a lot of water sports such as skiing, cycling, paragliding etc. while on the beaches belonging to the bay of Laganas are forbidden to protect the turtle.
RESTAURANTS
In Vassilikos you will find several taverns and restaurants, most of which are close to the beaches or the main road. You will enjoy fresh fish, charcoal snacks and other delicious local dishes in the rich lists that will awaken your senses, not only from Greek but also from international cuisine (Italian, Chinese etc.).

REACH US BY SEA
Zakynthos port is located in Zakynthos town, 5.5km from Porto Vasilikos Villas and is connected to the mainland of Greece through "Kyllini" port in north-western Peloponnese. Ferry boats depart daily every few hours, while the trip lasts for about 1 hour.
