Vassilikos has the most beautiful beaches on the island. In the southern part there is the magnificent beach of Gerakas and on the eastern side of the peninsula are the beaches Dafni and Sekania. The last three have a view of the Bay of Laganas and are nesting areas of the Caretta-Caretta turtle. They belong to the National Marine Park and the protection measures are very strict.

The beaches are distinguished for their sandy, golden beaches with their crystal clear, shallow and clear waters. In most of them access is very easy. At the beaches of the eastern part you can enjoy a lot of water sports such as skiing, cycling, paragliding etc. while on the beaches belonging to the bay of Laganas are forbidden to protect the turtle.


In Vassilikos you will find several taverns and restaurants, most of which are close to the beaches or the main road.
